George F. Glass IIIMD

George F. Glass III is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. He is medical director of the UVA Health Bed and Transfer Center and of Emergency Management, assistant medical director of the Emergency Department, and assistant research director of the Emergency Medicine Research Office. He completed his undergraduate degree, MD and emergency medicine residency at UVA, and a trauma biomechanics research fellowship, before joining the faculty in 2017. His work spans patient flow, disaster preparedness, predictive analytics and injury biomechanics.
